Pineapple Fizz
We’re saying “salute” to Summer with one last, refreshing Clean Cocktail for Labor Day Weekend! (Get the book here!) Beth Nydick is back again and this time we are mixing up some Pineapple Fizz. This drink is LOADED with antioxidants from pineapple juice - which also happens to be one of the best cough suppressants on the planet. Plus it adds a sweet flavor to the drink WITHOUT adding in extra sugar! And fresh basil, which is also packed with body loving nutrients!
This drink is simple, clean ingredients, and when poured over ice and topped with some seltzer it’s the perfect way to toast the last hazy days of Summer! Check out the video below, then grab the recipe and some friends for the weekend!

Pineapple Fizz
Serves 2
Recommended barware:
Highball glasses
18-20 fresh basil leaves
1 oz. fresh squeezed lime juice
1/2 C. pineapple juice
4 oz. vodka
ice
Seltzer water
Garnish: pineapple slice and basil sprig
Muddle the basil leaves and lime juice in a cocktail shaker. Add the pineapple juice, vodka and ice and shake for 10 seconds.
Strain the contents on the shakers into an ice-filled high ball glass and top off with seltzer. Garnish with pineapple slice and basil sprig and serve.
