Whole30, Day 30

Today was easy with so many leftovers in the house. I didn't have to think about much of anything.

A little platano cake and a cup of coffee, a perfect breakfast in my book.

A little platano cake and a cup of coffee, a perfect breakfast in my book.

I polished off the last of the platano cake for breakfast with a cup of coffee - feeling very European. And for lunch I had more chicken salad with coconut oil potato chips (literally obsessed with this meal).

And since we started with dinner on Thursday night a month ago - we decided to go out for dinner tonight to celebrate and to break our "fast."

Pasta! We both had pasta - and we were SO happy. We had wine, and pasta. All we could talk about was how good the food was. How every flavor popped for us. And while we went to a good restaurant, I knew it was the month long denial of these things that made the food taste SO good. We even split a dessert, which we hadn't had in a long time either. Funny thing here, it was almost TOO sweet. It's amazing how your taste buds change when you change what you eat for a while.
