Cucina Camp is a wonderful blend of fun, friendship and hands-on learning! Students will be taught age-appropriate kitchen skills, recipes and crafts! While learning the basics, they will be encouraged to be creative and bold, not only in the kitchen, but in life! Students will be exposed to a variety of fruits, vegetables, nuts and grains as they learn to work with simple, whole foods ingredients. Cooking is a skill that will serve them throughout their entire lives. Every child will receive a T-shirt, an apron, a potted herb and a wooden spoon. All ingredients and tools/utensils are provided.
Our camp leaders are caring, friendly, and above all else, passionate. Our support staff cares deeply about the health, safety, education, and social experience of all students. They work effortlessly to ensure that each student has a memorable and fulfilling experience at camp. For the 2021 season, we will be implementing ALL health recommendations from the federal government, the State of New Jersey, our local municipality and the CDC to ensure that both our staff and students remain healthy and well. Those rules will be communicated to you the week before camp begins as they are likely to change over the next few months. We are limiting each session to 10 children so reserve your spot early!
Please note, if your child has severe food allergies, this may not be an appropriate camp for them. While we can make every effort to ensure your child does not consume their allergen, the kitchen is a full commercial kitchen, available for rent and is not free of ANY allergen.

Enrollment and Additional Forms
After Cara’s Cucina/ First Floor Productions LLC receives your completed registration ($70 non-refundable) we will contact you through e-mail and/or postal mail. You will receive enrollment confirmation in the form of an invoice.
Information
Any information that needs to be communicated prior to camp starting will be done through e-mail, unless that is unavailable to you; then we will use mail to correspond any important information about the program and the shared responsibilities. Any forms must be completed and signed by the student and parent/s or legal guardian/s. Final admittance to the program is contingent on the Cucina Camp receipt and review of all forms including all waivers. Forms can be scanned and e-mailed or hard copies can be mailed to our office no later than three weeks prior to program's start date.

By registering online, it notifies us right away that you have enrolled your child in our program on a particular date. Please note that you have until June 1, 2021, to make your final tuition payment. If you register after May 1, 2021, the final payment is due within the next seven (7) business days from registration. Any applications after June 1, 2020, will be considered for enrollment on a first come, first served basis, and we will notify you right away if we have reached our limit.
Deposit and Refunds
A non-refundable, $70 registration fee is required to secure a spot in our program. The final tuition of $425.00 is due by June 1, 2021. We will accept tuition in increments, however, if we do not receive the full payment by this date (June 1, 2021), Cucina Camp reserves the right to cancel unpaid applicants with no return of fees.
Before May 1, 2021, all tuition, except the $70 deposit, is fully refundable. For cancellations between May 1, 2021, and June 1, 2021, we will refund 50% of the tuition and fees. After June 1, there are NO refunds, except in the form of camp credit. Camp credit is transferable to family members or friends within the camp age group minus the registration fee before July 1, 2021. The seasonal nature of the program precludes any refund, camp credit, or reduction for late or non-arrival, early withdrawal or student cancellation within two weeks of the program for any cause. Students sent home in violation of our rules, for medical reasons, or at the discretion of the student, or family will receive no refund.
